If not for Alabama, Georgia would have made two playoffs and would have at least 1 win, maybe a Championship and maybe other wins as well, if Georgia is overrated as you stated, then Oklahoma is as well.

That says about all you need to hear, considering the successes of Auburn, Florida, and Georgia over that period. Then add in top 5 finishes by SCar, TAMU, Arky, and Mizzou, as well as major bowl wins by Ole Miss, and it tells you someone has no clue about the last decade of CFB.

Now dont get me twisted, i usually dont give two rats ass about the SEC except for Bama and LSU, mainly because they are the only two teams that have been worth a shit over the past 10 years. Yeah Florida makes a sporadic appearance and Georgia has been doing it good the past few years but on a scale of actual competitiveness consistency its Bama and LSU. However, WTF was Texas A&M doing in the top 25 this week with a record of 3-2 other than to give Bama a win over a top 25 team. Mizzou was 4-1 (now 5-1), hell even UCF was 4-2 (one more win), and a few other teams just outside the top 25 has better records than A&M. It makes absolutely no friggen sense to put A&M in the top 25 other than to try and help boost other SEC teams schedules. Its just absolutely absurd.

Side Note... SMU keep going strong, you can do it. (only texas team i root for)

Blame it on pre-season perception & on some people's inability to change their perception - even when reality is staring them in the face. I think it goes back to last year when A&M almost beat Clemson on the road, beat LSU in a marathon game at the end of the season, then clobbered NC State in the Gator Bowl. So, they figured, it's Jimbo Fisher's second year, the Aggies ought to be even better!

They didn't take into consideration that the only SEC true road game they won was by 3 points over a 7-6 South Carolina team, or that they barely beat a 2-10 Arkansas team on a neutral field. People tend to over-estimate Jimbo Fisher's coaching ability since he has a 10-mil dollar a year salary. I'm not one of those people. I never thought the Aggies deserved to be ranked at all this season.
