So, Servais is going with his projected opening day lineup at the first Cactus League game this Sat.
That is the way I see it too. This could easily be the most common lineup we see. With the possible tweek here and there.i thought of it more as the likely everyday lineup they're planning to go with when they're not having to deal with powerhouse rotation guys.
but maybe i misread what divish was saying.

Most likely Smyly and Gallardo for 4 and 5. Both are coming off down seasons so they still have to earn it a little bit. It will be interesting to see how both of these guys perform during spring. I think the depth at SP is a little bit better than it has been in the past. Last season the depth was terrible and it hurt us in the long run.I am more interested on the rotation I already know that our lineup will be able to put together runs. Im curious on our 3,4,5 guys im assuming paxton will be the 3rd man in the rotation
I'd be very, very surprised if Vogelbach beats out Valencia for the first base gig.So, Servais is going with his projected opening day lineup at the first Cactus League game this Sat.
He's making a strong case thus far, if this is in fact a competition.I'd be very, very surprised if Vogelbach beats out Valencia for the first base gig.
