Divish was on the radio and he said that it was Servais is saying but is about 99% sure it won't be because the Astros will be starting Kuechel. Nothing really to complain about the lineup though.

I am more interested on the rotation I already know that our lineup will be able to put together runs. Im curious on our 3,4,5 guys im assuming paxton will be the 3rd man in the rotation

i thought of it more as the likely everyday lineup they're planning to go with when they're not having to deal with powerhouse rotation guys.

but maybe i misread what divish was saying.

I like that lineup.
For me my eyes are on Haniger and VBach, they are the 2 "wildcard" guys. Haniger got a cup of coffee with AZ and Vogelbach got a sip of coffee last season. So those two have to earn it IMO but even if they struggle I think there is a solid backup plan in place for either. Truth be told I am fairly confident in those two players doing well this season.

That is the way I see it too. This could easily be the most common lineup we see. With the possible tweek here and there.

He said it on the radio, that he tweeted and wrote it then realized they opened against a lefty and didn't ask Servais about it once he put two and two together.

Most likely Smyly and Gallardo for 4 and 5. Both are coming off down seasons so they still have to earn it a little bit. It will be interesting to see how both of these guys perform during spring. I think the depth at SP is a little bit better than it has been in the past. Last season the depth was terrible and it hurt us in the long run.

I'd be very, very surprised if Vogelbach beats out Valencia for the first base gig.

Vogelbach and Haniger are huge variables in terms of what to expect from them, but I like this lineup.

Cano must be licking his chops having guys who can really run batting in front of him.
