I agree, that's why Michigan doesn't claim them (like MSU does). Fact is, MSU claims some BS national titles -- even Samurai has admitted that in the past.

Yeah, they list claimed national titles. That's why you have years with 3/4 teams listed.
An awarded national title by some, somewhat known, poll. Michigan has 5 of those that we don't claim, MSU claims every single one of them. Bama has 4. They're bullshit titles and some teams claim them, some teams don't.
