The Musket's gunpowder must of gotten wet in Austin, because the Mountaineers were not firing right and we got hooked by 'em horns. After the past two weeks with Horny little Devils (Horned Frogs and Longhorns), we finally fight a clawed critter in Mo'Town. Thursday Night is special there, and I look for Clint Trickett to have the powder bag full again with new ammo. The Wildcats will leave Milan Puskar Stadium asking, "Who let the dogs out?" as the "underdog" Mountaineers pull out a HUGE WIN.

Half a bye week isn't long enough to mend the O line. Clint gets sacked 5 times and turns the ball over 3. K State takes advantage, putting up 13 points from those turnovers. The defense does enough to win, but can't overcome all the turnovers.

I am going with the WVU upset. It is Senior night and there will be an electric atmosphere on a Thursday night. After 2 lackluster performances, this team puts a good game together and wins.

I was amazed that we have played 69 games on Thursday, I thought that it aS a made for TV situation that games were on Thursday, most were played before 1963, you learn something every day.

Bowden comes back and coaches the second half with Rich Rod as OC and leads us to the greatest come from behind victory in the history of college football. Pastilong is brought back and promptly gets us back into the SAC conf Div II. WVU wins the next 10 Div II NC's. We cut cost by having no night games and tickets are 5 bucks a person sit where ever you like. Dana is banned from the state and his house is burnt down. We reach the mountain top and all live happily ever after.

I was thinking a loss, but after Dad's encouragement, I'll go WVU 31 KSU 27.

I don't gete it. The line is WV -2.

I know we are at home, but favored? That is an encouraging stat from DAD. I never would have guessed. But K St is no punk team. These guys play as close to mistake free football as any team I have ever watched. Of late - WVU has not. Even in games we won (OK ST), we turned it over far too often.

Give K St the ball, especially on the WV side of the field like we did with TCU and they will score.
I am not sure I am feeling the optimism, but what the hell.....

Unfortunately, K St got the recovery, not WV.
