Akron Zips- long snapper & the guy that holds the ball for FG's and PAT's.
Meh, I can say the long snapper since we punt so much. But I can't include the other one since we don't score or get close enough to kick a field goal.

I agree about Ossai however on offense.. Whittington is going to EMERGE after missing last season due to his groin injury. Think Yurcich will eventually have him, Smith and Eagles as his WR unit.
If he stays healthy he can be a great asset IMHO. IF, and that's abig IF, the OC is willing to use him in a lot of places. He could be one of those that gives DCs a headache in preparation.

He's one of those guys that might be very valuable if COVID strikes and some players have to play multiple positions and both ways at times.

Offense

running back Dedrick Mills once the coaching staff figured out he was the best back, he did well at the end of the season.

Defense

true Freshman

linebacker Keyshawn Greene only because I see no one on the defense being spectacular. Sure the DBs are adequate, but if the dline and the linebackers stink, it does not matter if your DBS are all 6'8" and run the 40 in 3.9 seconds and are stuck to their guys, someone has to do something in the front seven.

Heck, the kicker or punter could be the break out player of the year.

If anything, last year was his breakout season.

That’s what I’m saying. He’d have to have the type of season that would make him an undeniable first round pick to make this season a break out season for him.

like Ossai.. Both have shown ability, but let’s see a dominant player for 12 games. I don’t think either go in the 1st 3 rounds based on 2019 game film. Breakout can describe a couple different players. Good player that has shown signs of dominant play that becomes a consistently dominant player. The back-up that becomes a solid player. It really depends on what you mean.

Yeah I agree that they need to really bring it this season to be drafted on day 1 or 2. But I will say that Ossai is better than Chaisson who was drafted in the first rd this past April. If you would have swapped them, Ossai would have been getting a lot more attention. Crazy part is that Chaisson was a silent commit to Texas.. bad news was he also gave a silent to LSU at the same time.

Damn, that's what I was going to say. Julian Fleming at WR could be the one that makes the difference.
Crazy as it sounds, I'm not convinced Fleming is even going to be the best WR in this 2020 class. JSN and Gee Scott are absolute monsters.

I think college fans over-estimate production vs intangibles when it comes to the draft. It’s just like watching a HS game. College coaches are looking for what the player can be and not what the player is today. It’s the same for the draft. Ossai and Perkins don’t scream intangibles to me, so that is going to mean they have to be dominant to get in the first day

WR Treylon Burks is probably the best athlete to come out of Arkansas since McFadden. He made the SEC all-freshman team last year but since we were so bad he didn't score a single TD and most people probably don't know who he is yet. Missed his senior year of HS with a torn ACL or he might have been a 5*. 6'3, 230 and returns punts. I've noticed nationally people seem to know more about the other freshman WR from last year Trey Knox but Burks has a much higher upside.

I could see TE Hudson Henry having a really good year too, redshirted last year but was arguably the top TE recruit in the 2019 class. Defensively, I think S Jalen Catalon is going to be really good. Only about 5'9 but Chad Morris thought he was the best Texas high school player he'd seen since Vince Young. He also redshirted last year.

JSN will have to be a flanker. Good end around man and short passes. Extremely fast and elusive. I haven't seen Gee Scott play.
