Who on this list of potential free agents would you want Chip to go after?

ERIC BERRY, S
DOUG MARTIN, RB
RUSSELL OKUNG, OT
ERIC WEDDLE, S
ANDRE SMITH, OT
DANNY TREVATHAN, LB
JANORIS JENKINS, CB
PRINCE AMUKAMURA, CB
STEFAN WISNIEWSKI, G/C

Many of these will be tagged or re-signed by their current clubs before free agency begins.

Who else would you want Chip to target? We want to re-sign Walter Thurmond, for sure.

If there are decent offensive lineman out there I would go that route. Maybe take a shot at Eric Berry too. A good SS would be nice.

I think we are ok at corner, Davis just does not know how to use them.

The way I see it,

go O-line in FA, if reasonably priced. Draft O-line. If I had to choose between S/CB in FA and a WR, I would go WR. I think the team can use a veteran WR.

I would also go LB over CB/S.

Eric Berry would be my top choice.

Too early to speculate but I don't want Kelly making the call.

Have to figure out the QB situation first, then I would go after Wisnewski.

None of them. Give me free agent OGs and a WR.

That list was the "cream of the crop" according to the "experts".
Wisniewski would be a good replacement for Kelce, but is also a good guard. He just prefers to play Center, for some reason. I agree that we could sign 2 good Guards, and draft the best OT available, plus a speed Wr, pass rusher, and DB.

I'd go get Eric Berry because Andy Reid doesn't deserve him or anyone else on that KC D.

Here's your problem with free agency. DeMarco Murray.

History says Kelly will cut him. If he does that's a $13mm cap hit. That severely limits what you can do in FA. In addition it makes the FAs themselves wonder whether Philly is good fit for them. Whether Kelly will even be around beyond next year.

I will be shocked if Lurie lets chip just cut Murray. that would be a gift to any team that signs him, like Dallas, etc. The way to trade him would be for him to restructure his contract to lessen the cap hit, and then trade him to a AFC team.

I think what they will need to do is load up on mid-priced free agents on the OL and secondary. Our depth has been exposed this season and they need to improve it.

Well they tried to do that during the draft but both guys got hurt.

OTOH, the more Boykin plays the better the Steelers' secondary becomes.

Boykin and Murray just seemed wrong from the first I heard them mentioned.

Why would Murray restructure?

He's got them by the short and curlies right now. If I were him I'd say i'll restructure, pay out the contract in the next year.
Kelly thought McCoy was overpaid. He's completely screwed himself with Murray unless he can figure out a way to better utilize his skill set.

Never go full retard.
Andy already did. I guess you forgot how he decimated the talent on D in Philadelphia before he left. It was unforgivable.
