ND checking in...
Two first round Offensive linemen and your QB couldn't throw. Was that frustrating?
Obviously. Why do you think he was benched?
With those two beasts blocking imagine a Brady quinn or Jimmy Clausen back there. That would have been a sight to see.
That McGlinchey pick has to be the dumbest one of the first round. Regardless of your thoughts of the value of some other picks (ahem, Browns), he makes no sense on the 49ers. They already have two stud OTs and are in win-now mode. Why they didn't go with Edmonds or Alexander, I have no idea. Even Derwin James would've made more sense.
Kizer would have been ideal given the scheme and his ability to throw, but he left earlier than he should have.

Kizer was so good then the wheels fell off at ND. Is the same QB coach there for all these guys because that position has been in turmoil since Kellys been there. Every year you guys are waiting for the new guy whos better than the last guy.
ND is on their 6th QB coach since Kelly has been there. In some instances the OC was also the QB coach. Tommy Rees is currently the QB coach.
They must know something about this guy that the normal folks don't. That's the ultimate benefit of the doubt, for sure. You're right about that one being a huge head scratcher.I don't know man. The Saints giving next years first rounder to move up nine spots to take Marcus Davenport was a head scratcher.
For a guy that's projected to play RT, that was a hell of a reach in the top 10 to be honest.Staley will be 34 by the time next season starts. Might be part of the reasoning, plus they must be extremely high on him given what they have on the roster, currently.

Ha, well there ya go now. Trent Brown is a Patriot now. There were points during the season he was projected to be a top 10 pick. He was a pretty safe bet to be picked in the top 20, maybe a reach based on projections, but he's going to be a stud.
Very impressive for a middling programND checking in...
If you answer yes and didnt make playoffs, perhaps you need some new coaches
