I don't think the CFP is rigged. I think it's an exclusive playoff designed only for the elite programs (not teams) in college football. Clearly there is a bias against the little guys.

I think teams outside the power 5 are the only teams that begin the year unable to compete for a national championship. I think there are teams inside the power 5 with a lot less room for error than other power 5 teams are given. UNC or Arizona are never going to be selected for a playoff spot ahead of Alabama or Ohio State if they're resumes are similar.

2. Because rankings by the CFP have shown that it really doesn't matter, and the perception of the SoS is wayyy more important than the actual strength of schedule.

In 2015, UNC was intentionally left low in the rankings leading up to the conference championship game to prevent them from having any chance at participating in the CFP. Even though several other teams with similar SOS have been in position to move into the top four.

You’re number 1 is the dumbest thing you’ve ever posted. UCF controls who they schedule, not how strong their schedule is. Not their fault teams won’t schedule them, not their fault there was a hurricane, not their fault teams were good when they scheduled them and not good when they made I.T onto their schedule. That’s out of their control. They scheduled a two power five teams, including one that was just in the conference championship game. Their schedule next year is the same, two power five teams including one that was just in the conference championship recently
