The idea that I have no choice but to be armed 24/7 for the rest of my life does not give me a sense of security. Im not anti gun, IM pro realistic gun legislation.

i am pro letting citizens protect themselves and not being punished for what criminals do . i am for better mental haelth care . i am for the FBI doing better jobs on these background checks

But we both know the reality is, once the wall goes up any sort of amnesty goes out the window and what really happens is even stiffer deportation efforts. E-Verification has been on going and working for the past ten years or more.

Currently they are doing everything they can to reduce legal immigration numbers, so why on earth would they speed up the process of becoming a legal resident, and many want to make becoming a citizen almost impossible if you weren't born here. Wonder what criteria they will use for gaining citizenship once they drop the new new deal??

Amnesty goes out the window because the wall isnt about stopping illegal immigration from the south, its about stopping almost all immigration from the south. And I guarantee once the wall is built, you will hear talk of why should we grant these criminals who broke into "Our" country to stay when we finally have a physical means of keeping them out??

Step one.. build the wall. This prevents people from sneaking in without permission.


Step two.. as people can only come in at points of entry, or airports. You effectively can sit back and simply say.. no we dont want you in the country. NO more real worries about someone sneaking in that you dont know about.. cause you got the wall after all.

Step three... Pass laws that make it a crime to assist or employ illegals. Make it hard enough for them to survive, and they will leave on their own. As in, charge and prosecute those that employ, rent to or otherwise assist illegals.

As technology improves, the only real way to prevent a blending of the world as one society is through violence. Now sure I know some would be fine if America was the one surviving "Culture". I tend to think the predominant "Culture" needs an attitude adjustment.
