yeah, give me the sequel, like Anchorman. Surfers start another chain of robberies, they get a stoned Keaunu Reeves out of a hut somewhere in Southern mexico, have him dive in the pool to get two bricks and earn back his badge, then leads a brash ex college quarterback new hotshot to the FBI Shia to the chase, constantly being under minded by this great crew, finally make it to the airstrip as their plane is being packed and ready to leave to find the next set of waves where its warm, just to have Reeves shoot Shia in the back, say great job guys, jump on the plane as we learn he is the leader of this new crew, and they were all around him in Mexico when the FBI found him. Maybe Megan Fox can be Shias girlfriend in the show, and jump on the plane too showing that Utah was banging her too and put her in place for the kid. She ends up doing all 5 guys on the plane.

I'm ok with remakes if there is a need for them. Example, although I wasn't crazy about it, I understood when they remade King Kong. The original was ancient, it looked awful, it's a good story and modern technology could, in theory, enhance that movie. Point Break isn't really that old. While it's a bit dated at parts it still for the most part holds up.

And this one does NOT need to be remade. Period..

Well it's a start..........

Because he's facing a lawsuit from a comic book artist for stealing his work for short film he created,

Shia LaDouche now says "In light of recent attacks against my artistic integrity, I am retiring from all public life".

Too bad he didn't make the pledge we we're all hoping for of retiring from the movie industry. But sadly you know like about everyone else in Hollyweird, his word is worthless, so he won't be retiring from anything.

Remakes are always tricky, especially when the first was so memorable but I'm intrigued enough to go check it out.
