Pick the Podium - Japanese Grand Prix, Suzuka, Japan, 2016

This week-end, the F-1 guys are in Suzuka, Japan for the Japanese Grand Prix. We shall see if Hamilton can rebound from his disastrous outing in Malaysa as the F-1 season continues to wind down. This circuit is often called, "Near-Perfect" because of its long straight stretches of track. Ought to be another good race.

Ricciardo leads Practice 2 with Rosberg and Vettel hanging around the top three. Hamilton is presently 19th. This is usually not an issue but we shall see.

P3 is the is one anyway and I watching that right now before dinner.

I may watch qualifying live tonight. Should start around 11 PM my time I think?

Top three in P3: Rosberg, Ricciardo, Vettel. Is Hamilton lurking somewhere? The Race is on tomorrow night at about 12 midnight, eastern time I believe.

Looks like its Rosberg, by a whisker over Hamilton and Raikkonen. I knew Hamilton is lurking somewhere and surprise, he is right in Rosberg's rear view mirror.

Wish I'd have known about the Raikkonen Penalty before the race. Woulda changed my picks.


And Max is lucky that Lewis is still in the championship fight, and needed to get points. Otherwise, I think theyd'd be sweeping up carbon fibre shards as far away as Osaka. Can you imagine Max making those kinds of braking moves on Schumacher or Villeneuve?
