This was about as good as a home opener can get.

The Morris twins were impressive, especially Marcus. Dragic and Bledsoe did Dragic and Bledsoe things. Thomas will thrive here. Len looked great defensively. Role players contributed how they're expected to (bedsides Green).

This will be a fun year.

Can't think of a better way to kick off the season than a 20-point thrashing of the pathetic Lakers.

Before we jump all over LA remember they have played two very solid teams. Back to back.

They are awful, but I still think Philly, Orlando, Milwaukee and Indiana are worse. There is still hope.

The issue for them is that they are going to be playing pretty good teams for the majority of the season. They only play the bottom dwellers so many times.

I really don't want the pick this next draft anyways. The roster is pretty set next season except for Green & Randolph. I really don't see room to add 2-3 more young players. Unless they draft & stash again. The Lakers likely won't be any better next year.

I disagree. It would be great trade bait. This team still needs another big.
