Ah crap. Garcia walks the batter and the bases are loaded. This thing is unraveling quickly.

Garcia gets to the first base bag in time to have the Padres leave them loaded and Garcia gets out of the inning. This is the last chance for the Phils to score a run.

Revere hits a deep fly for an out. Cashner pitches his third career shut-out and the Padres take the first game of this four-game series. Williams had a great night as well but takes the L. We are now 70-80 with 12 to go.

The poet laureate eh jvett. Looks like your Eagles pulled out a good one and the Phillies gave up the first game of this series. I'll probably be back tomorrow night.

Yeah, retro, the Eagles pulled it out in an exciting game. I saw where your Rams squeaked by Tampa. I guess you don't follow the 2-0 Cardinals?

Two frustrating losses for the Phillies. They've wasted very good pitching efforts in the last few games by Buchanan and now Williams. That turkey AJ is on tonite. I was glad to see that clown Paps hit with the 7 day suspension. Hope his fine is over $10,000.

I keep an eye on the Cards jvett because they are in the same division and I go to the stadium when the Rams come to town. The Rams played an ugly game. Their vaunted defense was very porous against the run and we had some injuries as usual. If we didn't get that 10 second run-off at the end of the game we would have lost that game by two. Our offense is the worst in the league and we had better get things fixed or it is going to be a long season.

Papelbon will learn the hard way. He'll find out that all of his shenanigans are not worth the sentence he'll receive in the court of public opinion. He is working on his "wild thing" personna I guess! Crazy Mitch Papelbon!!

Obviously, we're going all out tonite. Erratic AJ and four guys including the pitcher doing less than .190. But hold on, Howard and Brown keep it decent at .224 and .232. Looks like it will have to come from ash, ut, and size.
