Phillies on target to win 58 games,

    A while back they were on target to win 52 games. But since the Braves and Mets pulled away from them
    they have done a little better. Looks like they will still try to get the number one draft pick by losing as much
    as possible. The Giants and the Padres are the other two teams that may also contend for the worst record.

    Perfect. We're one or two players away. If they make the right choice in the draft this team will be back in no time

    I think we have the offense down with a few additions that we have available. Perhaps we can sign a solid pitcher free agent type next season. The starting pitching is what it is all about.

    Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Last time we had the number one pick we got Nola. Maybe there's another good solid college pitcher available this year that is almost major league ready like him.

    I understand that they have money to spend now, might they pick up at least one very good free agent.

    I hope they can sign a starting pitcher along with a strong reliever as well. Yes, they will have plenty of money to spend!
