Phillies-Marlins Game Thread-Sunday.

Gonzalez vs Cozart. Severino gets another chance after getting bombed his last game. The marlins are
hitting and the Phillies are not. Another loss today for the Phillies as they continue to be the worst run organization in all of baseball. They have lost interest in the fans and it is insulting the way the owners allow the insanity to continue. It is time to do an honest rebuild without players such as Sizemore and Francouer.
Ryno keeps playing (7) lefthanded hitters against righties in order to score more runs. The Phils are averaging just 2.5 runs a game! The lineups would be better by spinning a wheel instead of Ryno making
them.

The amazing thing about the Astros is the fact that all of their position players are younger than 30 years old.
They may be good for years to come if the pitching holds on!

It is absolutely useless to expect the Phillies to duplicate anything of success of another club when the FO is this bad. You might has well think you can piss into the wind and not urinate on yourself.

Severino is doing better this time around. He is probably over the jitters. Now if we could just score some runs!

Well what do know? A rare win! Ruf goes one for four and gets hit by a pitch. He scored a run and drove in a run.
All in all a productive day. Utley looks lost. he is hitting close to .110 and fading fast. He needs to be benched for a few games and/or he should be batting around 7th. The change in the line up gave the team a spark today.

I'm thinking that this win will be typical of about 1/3 of the Phillies games this year. Actually, this is not unexpected for a rebuilding team which has a combination of inexperienced, young and old players on the downhill. But we can still exceed expectations with better lineups and by moving certain players this year. All easier said than done.
