Phillies -Braves Game Thread-Sunday.

Cahill vs Williams. The Phillies have an honest chance to win the series today. Only Ryno could screw this up. Here is a little Phillies fodder: The Phillies are 4-1 when scoring more than 3 runs. They are 2-10 when trailing after 6 innings. They are 4-0 when leading after 7 innings.

There is a glimmer of hope there and hopefully we will leave this series 7 and 12 rather than 6 and 13.

Trevor Cahill pitching for the Braves. Jerome Williams will have to have a terrible game for the Phillies to lose. If you win, just be sure to hit Cahill hard. I'm hoping the harder he gets hit, the quicker he gets released. If we're guaranteed a loss every 5 games, I'd prefer it be a rookie who go grow from it.

Funny stuff jvett! By the way there is no change in the lineup today with the exception of Hernandez starting at 3rd today. Asche gets a rest. Galvis still batting 8th and Ruf continues to ride the bench since going 2-4 with 2 doubles on Thursday. Roll some big joints for this one to dull the effect of continued baseball lunacy!

Today's Phillies milestones: Revere and Howard each reach .200.

They've been a little sloppy today. When you get Revere on third with one out you have to get him home. Also, despite what people keep saying about Utley, he has hit a lot of balls hard for tough outs. And if he really is slipping, other teams haven't gotten the memo because they are still walking (or hitting) him in key situations.
