Nice win, could get used to walk offs like this. Glad to see them fighting till the end. Decent start by Ross but you would like to see him get a little farther in the game. Great job holding it by the pen. Gotta hand it to Moreland today too. He made some things happen.

Long first inning did him in, not that he was pitching bad, but he struck out the side and went to a deep count with almost every hitter, that will get the pitch count up in a hurry

Almost sounds like the Yu Darvish school of pitching.

Am sure Rosin having pitched for PHL AA last year loved the opportunity to face their ML lineup and logging his first ML win. Wonder how PHL ended up losing him? He had 23GS for AA Reading last year and a pretty nice line.

For the most part there was not much too miss until Kendrick came out. But Moreland and Martin were huge in this game. They got us our first run and were in the middle of the 9th inning rally. And Ross struggled some but in the end gave up just 2 earned runs in 5 innings and our new out of nowhere guys in the pen held the Phils scoreless.

couldn't watch it, but
yay Rangers!

Wow! When I was asking about Choo in the off-season, you guys were telling me his metrics, that he gets on base, etc.

Well, last night was those conversations in action. Awesome, walks in the winning run!

Also, Moreland's hit was a thing of beauty. I hope he really can turn it on, and stay healthy.

Here's to a couple on ninth inning wins. :suds:

Awe, that sucks they sent Martinez down... the kid looked pretty good yesterday. Only really made 2 bad pitches that he might have wanted back. Definitely put together a better game than Saunders.
