Looks like SM is trying to create options and competition.

Allows Amerson to not bog the team down if he doesn't show improvement as well.

I like Amerson as my 4th corner. It was more than a sophomore slump. Missing meetings, blowing assignments. Cooley eluded that the guys in the secondary that were blowing assignments were the first ones out of the park in the afternoon.

Deion called him out as well. Until he starts taking his job seriously, Scot has to conduct business viewing Amerson through the lens that David created for himself.

I heard those rumblings as well. If he competes and wins a place, I'm all for it. And if doesn't, he has an opportunity to improve and contribute.

The problem for us has been having quality guys around to compete. And injuries and bad luck. Hopefully it will be different this year.

Wow. If we get Cox its just a clear message that the Redskins have no confidence in Amerson. I wanted Waynes in the draft but the Cox signing will just kill that theory.
