That's why Kansas basically handed him down to us.

I love his attitude and everything, but he is a set shooter and that's about it. He needs to be able to create off the dribble more than just taking one step and one dribble and pulling up.

He can't dribble at all. Biggest part of becoming an effective scorer is learning how to dribble. That's something that Shavon can do.

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't pretend to know much about the game, but any layman can see the difference between him and Shields.

KU would (probably) start Shields.

At the very least Shields would average 25-30 mins off the bench for Kansas.

I would start him on any team in the country if I was coach.

He's a great shooter. He's just a terrible ball-handler.

This isn't hard to figure out. Very athletic but he can't dribble. He quite simply can't.
