Kings were missing a lot of key players tho.
Yeah, they were missing some big guns, but that team that has always been greater than the sum of the parts.

All we gotta do is beat the Sabres and this will be our best week yet
He looked good all game. It was a big improvement over the New Jersey game. Not so much giving up three goals, but he looked looser and more fluid in the net last night than he did against the Devils. I think the big gap in games hurts him.Fleury looked sharp in the third, which is all of the game that I saw. I thought for a second he was going to get a goal, too.
These are the Penguins. They can do anything. Shut out the best and get blown out by the worst. You never know.LOL watch us choke to the Sabres
Pens will beat buffalo by 7 goals...
Kings are a really cheap team with the sticks, constantly slashing, getting sticks up high, Malkin had enough.
I understand why they are such a good playoff team, definitely the type of crap they let go in the playoffs to the detriment of the league.
The first half of the game was a lot closer than I thought it should be, but the power plays put the game away for the Pens. Fluery was tested a couple times but kept them out of the net for the second straight game. Its still to early to start thinking about the parade route, but I'm enjoying the season so far.
I like the way Sid is playing too. Last night his line was just about the only one that was skating. The PK definitely shut the door after a rough couple games early on. I'm starting to get more optimistic about them now. They had new players and a new coach with a new system and I guess it took some time to gel. Still a long way to go but we're looking good so far.Enroth kept the Sabres in the game early on but that Comeau goal shattered his confidence and then the Pens power play finished him off. Team has played lights out the past 4 games, 3 shutouts (the 1 game we didn't get a shutout we won 8-3), no power play goals surrendered, and we're scoring goals galore. Sid is looking unstoppable right now with a left and right handed winger to work with. Even our back lines are contributing. It's a good time to be a Penguin fan that's for sure
