I don't like Greiss in net tho, would rather see Zatkoff there.

The Mighty Guin has spoken! Lol. Good game Pens & my fine feathered Pen fans! Sid was definitely on fire leading by example! What a clinic he put on tonight! My hat's off to him, fun to watch! Malkin was strong tonight & fun to watch! Pens were all over the ice winning the wars for the puck & knew what to do with it when they won it! Great energy guys, very fun to watch your team & all the talent on it! :suds:

Good game Ishall, thought you guys played better than the score indicated, just bad goaltending tonight. I think they should've just stuck with Bishop and given him a chance to redeem himself. Cooper pulled the plug too early IMO.

:agree: :agree:

TV Reporter: What do you think about your 2 net-minders execution?
I_Shall: I'm in favour of it!

1 of the goals wasn't really Bishop's fault, the horn went off and messed up Bishop's concentration. Cooper should've realized that wasn't on the goalie.

Oh well, the ice looked nice, the Guins put on a clinic (especially Sid the kid) & we all got complimentary chewing gum upon our arrival to Consol Energy Center!
Chomp chomp chomp giggle giggle. :suds:

Props to Johnston for playing with the lines some. Really like the Kunitz - Sutter - Bennett combo. Bylsma would've NEVER done that. Also putting Geno on the same line as Adams was sort of funny.

I've really liked Johnston's coaching style so far. Very cerebral, willing to adjust, willing to put guys into roles which are different from the norm if it benefits the team. From everything I've seen, he can turn this team's playoff performances around.

Geno with Adams was sort of funny. The only way I could see that happening is if someone was trying to intimidate Geno, but I didn't see that happening.

They looked better last night than they have in a long time. Can't wait to see Perron in action. Maybe tonight?

Yeah I really liked that line, what is funny when watching the game my son said to me boy Bylsma would never had done that as soon as he saw them out there together.

With Adams, the only hope for the Penguins now is if Bylsma takes a job after a coach is fired this season. You know GMJR will be calling that team the minute if that occurs to make a deal for Adams.

Gallagher just pushed Fleury out of the way, and the Habs scored the first goal on the missed call.

Bennett got himself some space with a nifty little move, but the shot hit a stick.

Perron wasted no time notching his first goal as a Penguin. :whoo:

Yeah nice play to get the puck free and to Crosby, then to get open in the slot.

As far as I can tell, any right-handed shot will do for Crosby. He really seems to mesh well with anyone who shoots righty.

That pass Crosby made was pretty tremendous, too.

Perron looks really good defensively, to boot.

If Gallagher didn't get ticketed for interference, neither should have Downie. Markov ran into Price (albeit with some help).

Yeah very true.

BTW...Perron looks like a kid on Christmas day that just got the best toy ever. He is playing pretty good so far.

Crosby is flying tonight, too. That line has been outstanding so far.

Game's been pretty even to this point. The difference is the interference goal.

How the Pens aren't up a man after that is beyond me. Downie got interfered with and cross-checked in the back of the head after Crosby was hit well away from the puck, and instead we get Downie with roughing and an interference call.

Two interference calls and a roughing on the Habs plus Downie's two probably would have been accurate.
