Just seems like Elway really likes this guy. Wonder how far we would have to trade up for him and what that might cost. At the right price I could get behind it

I love him and i think the bowl game spooked people. Guys good though and as the 3rd qb now.... he may very well slide down. Houston no longer a landing spot. St louis and new orleans very pivotal ... i think st louis gets rgiii new orleans though scares me, they might wait til 2nd rd though... but need a successor to brees

Lynch has been sliding since the Combine. Teams said he struggled with reading a defense and knowing what plays were called. So small chance he could slide to us without having to trade up. Just wonder though with those kind of question marks how much we can actually depend on him to do well year one.

Why do nothing one will fall to us or if one does not I am fine with losing a season and preparing that way and building our OL up and going with a really cheap QB ..Draft DL and OL this year for them to play this year ..

You legally have only 2 teams wanting a QB in the first round now IMO

Well, if he falls, no reason not to kick the tires. From what I've read though, Denver is "enamored" with Dak Prescott. So who knows which way they go.

Curious why it "seems" Elway loves him... Has he said something?

I assume that the Broncos would at least need to jump the Cardinals. Lynch has an Arians type of arm.

Right now, most mocks have Lynch going late first.

I think we may be in love with a few QB's.. I get the vibe Elway loves Prescott too.

The two most rumored about are Lynch and Prescott. Lynch's HS coach mentioned Denver as one of four teams that visited with him about Lynch's character.

Sounds too much like Tebow for my tastes. Sounds like Dak's the better option.

Was gonna reference that and also Elway always loves scouting the qbs. Other than the 5th yr option for a first rounder i think I would rather get Prescott in the 3rd(if we could)

Dak Prescott:

"Scouts are most impressed with his development above the neck, showing above average awareness as a passer, recognizing things quickly and working through his progressions to easily load and fire.

Displays an ability to use his eyes and hold defenders and has a quick memory to move on from mistakes and not let the negative plays linger. Overall, he has a much more natural feel in the passing game than in 2013 and appears in complete control of that offense."

This sounds promising, should we land him.

Tell you what, I know the knocks on him are size but I thought he was the best looking qb in that Shrine game or what ever it was. He might surprise. Lot of Russell Wilson attributes to me anyway.

I see a lot of Russell Wilson in him. Every game we lost this year though was because he was injured....if he could stay healthy he may surprise some people

That could be a bit problem in the NFL though. Wilson at least has a meatier frame that helps protect him.

C'mon, Randy. I don't care how handsome the guy is. I just want to know if he can play.

I think that our game plan should be to sign Ryan Fitzpatrick and wait until next draft to find our guy. Fitz is a fine band aid and I don't want to see us panic and grab someone just to grab him. Lynch has a high ceiling, but he is supposed to be quite the project. He's not someone we can draft to play this season.

:). Didn't he get mvp in that game? I know he looked better than any qb in that game and if memory serves me right,Wentz was in that game as well. I like him for a late pk.

With what Bradford and Osweiler got, Fitz will want to be paid about the same.
