If Tebow had passed the ball 44 times, he would have netted 662 yards. 466 yards is pathetic in comparison.

Meh, it was a good day. Drew Brees went 33 for 44 for 466 yards and 3 TDs. THAT's a great day. Tebow was good, and extremely effective. I wouldn't use the word great.

Meh. I mean, it took Brees 33 completions to get to 466 yards. Tebow only needed 10 completions for 316. Half the attemps for more yards per attempt...I mean...ya know...just sayin'. lol

He had a very good day. Maybe not GREAT, but certainly very good. Especially when you consider how consistent the Steeler defense is. I'm shocked the DL didn't make any adjustments, and none more obvious than going cover 0 in OT, leaving a CB who had been toasted all game long alone.

Of course, he could go up to N.E. and go 6-19 for 115 yards...That's life with Tebow.

So we're going to assume that if he had thrown it more, he would have kept up a 31 ypa average? LOL. Nice.

This is all I'm saying. I never said he sucked, and certain people are acting like I did. I said he had a good day, and a great job in protecting the ball and not making a mistake. He took advantage of an awful game plan by Pittsburgh. 80 of his yards were on 1 play in OT and because of the low # of attempts, greatly affected his numbers. He had a good day.

It was simply another means to show you how ridiculously GREAT his numbers were since you obviously haven't been able to grasp any other logic. Sorry you missed that.

I rarely miss anything, except your own hypocrisy. You're the very one who keeps saying yards as a stat don't mean anything, but you're quick to toss them out when you get a chance when it's convenient. Try to be a little bit smarter.

Way to take my argument FOR points and against yards as an AVERAGE as a standard measure out of context.

They are absolutely meaningful in this instance for a SINGLE GAME especially when considering they were attained with so few passing attempts (you see what I did here....the yards are no longer standing alone).

Keep it up.

Tebow had a GREAT game even if you're not a fan of his long term prospects as an NFL QB...

He had 360 total yds and 3 TDs against arguably the best defense in football, and he did that without any dominant talent surrounding him at the skill positions

LOL. Ah, they're meaningful when it suits you. I get it now. Thanks for clearing that up.

You'd have to be pretty dumb to come to that conclusion after reading my post, or maybe just trying to save face.

Color me not surprised.

I'm glad you were able to get away from your ridiculous stance and make this about me.

Good for you. Seriously.
