Without the luck on his side, he's a mediocre executive.

He inherited a Lakers team that already had Magic and Kareem, plus a gift from the Cavs' Ted Stepien (the worst owner in sports history) that allowed the Lakers to draft James Worthy.

And now, he lost Bosh for the second consecutive season to blot clots. Here's to hoping he can come back and have a successful career. In spite of his miles, Bosh is still only 31...

Wrong about Kareem .... twice. (and Magic once ... unless you are giving Riley credit for the Championship when he was an assistant coach ... which would be a silly thing to do)
