Fumbles, dropped passes, porous in the secondary, wouldn't even have the one touchdown except for a fortuitous official's call.....

I'm rooting for the 9'ers to win it all at this point.

sometimes I wonder if that week off is a good thing...they did not look sharp. Gotta give some credit to the Giants though as they were prepared and the d smothered the packers (front 7 and secondary...they played great)

Niners? Really? The team that beat us twice in the SB? I still hate that team and Joe Montana.

This is turning into a trend in the NFL..... The best team in October and November is rarely the best team in January. It seems that coaches still haven't quite figured out how to get their guys rest, yet stay sharp enough to compete. The big difference today is that NY has been playing for their season for the past month.... They were just better prepared to play a big game. GB looked like they were in preseason mode.

NFC-C should be a great game. Two teams led by great D..... So much for the notion that you can win the NFC with passing alone -- Bye bye NO and GB.

I hate when teams rest their starters in week 17. Then they are off for two weeks and often come out rusty. As you said, NY had momentum from the end of the season and has carried it right through.

It's easy to become enamored of high powered offense, yet often the great offense seems to disappoint in the end.....

Rooting for NE-SF with SF winning it all. I would root for the Ravens, but as long as Joe Flacco is on that team I refuse to root for it.

I've said it before but that Packers offensive system does not impress me. How many of the seemingly few Rodgers completions had to come on pinpoint accurate throws? Where are all the crossing routes? The short-to-intermediate routes across the middle? It seems 90% of their offense stems from slants and go-routes. Whereas teams like the Saints and Pats always seem to find players open all over the field.

I like the Pats the rest of the way. Their offense is just unbelievable. Though I'd like to see the Giants win it all as I'm a big fan of Coughlin.

.....

anyway... I started wondering if it was a bad idea for Packers coaches to be mentioned so much as moving to other teams already.
