@Nightcrawler well that takes care of your PESKY Jays
Which carrier is pictured in your avatar.

Forgot to mention. My dad (Lord rest his soul) served in the Navy in WW2 and during the Korea war timeframe but in the Atlantic on a ship like the Pueblo. I think it was the Guardian.

He did boot towards the end of WW2 in Corpus.

Anyone who bitched about kindler was a dumb ass.

I think we all bitch about lots of the players (Beltre aside) even if it is just during the emotions of live game chats, which is why I said "we", (no one is safe w me, I bitch about all of the from time to time :D) about Kinsler.

I thought he was a damn good 2nd baseman. Had a couple base running gaffes in playoff games and the upper-cut swing, but I would have taken Ian on this team for many more years.

Ian was a Ranger casualty IMO, due to the Fielder love affair JD had, coupled with Profar and the multitude of MI'ers we had in the system at one point

I didn't care for his attitude when asked to be a leader on the team.

I didnt care for his 0-162 comments and interview but I understood his reluctance to move off of 2nd because of his pride and his feeling that it was his best position personally.

The leadership comments should have been kept in the clubhouse IMO, cause regardless of being a vet or one of the team's better players, some guys just aren't cut out for that role.

No doubt it seems Ian is a "he" first guy, but he was a solid option at 2B for the Rangers and wasnt necessarily the reason the team couldn't get beyond where they were at the time.

Don't forget his 30-30 season. He popped up a lot but has more LO homers than any other Ranger and many dbls too. We liked him even if he popped up a few times lol.
