I understand that Casinos know what they are doing when it comes to making money, but what is the thinking when it comes to having zero low limit table games available, say $5 or $10 blackjack or craps, but instead every table game is a minimum of $20, but half the tables are empty, nobody is playing. Just the dealer sitting there by themselves. This drives me nuts.

All ok here so far, thanks for asking.
Did it end up going a little further north? Will you have to worry about any surge when it comes back over the east coast.

The path trended a little more west over the last 12 hours before landfall, which kept it just far enough west and north to spare Jacksonville for the most part. Hardly any rain and still just dealing with occasional 40mph wind gusts. No power outage.

They are friends. And would you really expect Prince Charles (74) to have relevant musical tastes?

Lionel's song "Running With The Night" was originally called "Running With The Knights" and was written about Charles, Lionel, and their friends tales of whoring around North Wales in the 70s
I read they were trying to get people like Elton John, but by the time they started looking all the seriously big acts were booked for months.

Maybe, I don't know. I always heard he wanted Lionel because they were friends. Maybe not. I also would figure most bands, especially English ones, would rearrange schedules to do an event like this...

Also, Elton? Charles and Camilla were going to hire someone who sang at Diane's funeral? And had a hit with the song?

My cousin who is now in Tampa and my Sister and father in Law who are in Port Richey all said it was windy but not as bad as they expected. It stayed offshore more than they thought it would.

And my father in law has been hiding out in my sister in law's house so she says that is the worst part.

My decision to hunker down or evacuate is mainly driven by who I would have to hunker down with.

She would have preferred to have that choice, but he lives in a "manufactured home" and he got evacuated. Her house is built to the newest code.

Cable companies and their pissing matches with channels. Spectrum is arguing with Disney over pricing and as such has removed all Disney channels from their lineup until Disney lowers the price they charge. Therefore I cannot watch ESPN and the Italian Grand Prix practice. I subscribe to ESPN+, but unless you have a "cable subscription" to watch live, the event is blacked out on ESPN+. It's the same story with Blue Jackets games. The only 2 reasons I pay for a cable subscription at all. So I can log in and watch F1 and hockey on my phone or laptop and not always be tied to a TV.

I personally don't give a fuck where the line falls on the dividing up of the millions of dollars between them. Just let me have the content I want.

So, apparently Spectrum cut ESPN off immediately after kickoff of the college football season last night. Like there was the kickoff to start the game and then it went dark.

Good thing nothing interesting happened:

Having to attend stupid cookouts with family members you hate.
Then having to listen to the one annoying mom go on about how smart their kid is.

This is normally the kid:

Lionel Ritchie. I mean, like, why? He hasn't been significant for decades. He was like the best they could find for King Charles's coronation? Really, kings and queens need to give at least a year's notice if they expect their successors to get top talent. Otherwise it's gonna be has-beens like this guy.
We saw Earth Wind and Fire and Lionel Richie last night. 74 fuckin years old and he can still bring his classics although looked to be on the verge of a heart attack during each song. But he's a veteran entertainer through and through.

He even brought up the male hostility he felt as he started the show. He knew the wives had dragged their husbands to the show ... but as he said to the audience ... "youll find out ... Im on your side guys ... I get em warmed up and you take em home ... and then he screamed "hope I dont get cancelled for that one"

this was pretty hilarious too ... horrible camerawork by the person here as they cut the video before the punchline but also didnt move over to the back of the stage where the spotlight was shone on the entry door ... everyone started getting excited and thinking Diana Ross was gonna walk out but after a dramatic pause Lionel says ... "not tonight"

Stuck behind the douche in the monster truck with the high-priced custom suspension when they come to a screeching halt to go over a speed bump in a parking lot.
