OT: My week

Was not good. Fought off a bout with some kind of upper respiratory inflammation. Not too bad. But to top it off my 3 year old niece was hospitalized with a disease called ADEM, and I wasn't able to see her until today (she has been hospitalized since the 12th).

I'm glad hockey can perk me up at least a little though.

Just to clear the air a bit... she responded well to her treatments and starts her out-patient rehab soon (she gets out tomorrow). I think she will be OK.

And my illness is also on the way out.

Nothing like hacking phlegm on your bed for 4 days while your niece is in the hospital and you can't see her to make you feel helpless though.
