Was listening to this earlier today and it hit me - there's a lot of Buddy Holly influence going on in this song starting with the guitar at the 1 min mark. 1:20 guttural stops like Buddy Holly. Lastly, the sentiment "Used to be mine" is kind of Buddy Holly-esque (Peggy Sue Got Married).

I wonder if these touches were intentional or just natural.

This is a dope live performance. It even has a laser harp that comes in at about 1:30 that is played by the bassist by blocking light beams.

Love this band, they really need more recognition. Good mix of melody and technicality with a smorgasbord of genres.
