R.I.P.

I'm gonna sound like an old fogey here but I feel he's part of a dying breed of sports journalists. I just cringe at the work of some of the guys replacing these old icons.

A sad day.

Likely remembered most for his work with Merlin Olsen on NFL football broadcasts as well as all the breakfasts at Wimbledon with Bud Collins. RIP Mr. Enberg.

Broadcasting Legend Dick Enberg Dies at Age 82
Umm, I think for many older folks in SoCal he will be remembered as the Bruins broadcaster '66-'77. Imagine being able to call the games where these guys played: Alcindor, Warren, Shackelford, Wicks, Rowe, Lee, Patterson, Walton, Wilkes, Johnson and includes 5 players of the year and 8 championships. For me, OH MY will always be associated with Lee lobbing to Walton for a drop in (no dunks).
