By the way, anyone have any idea of what time Thursday's nights game will be at? I have tix and, I'm sure like most people, have to work Thursday. I've heard from someone it could be at 1pm or 3pm. I simply assumed it would be a night game given it's Game 1 and on a weekday. But maybe Thursday Night Football could be a factor...?

We've been doubted for a good chunk of the season. Yes, the AL East wasn't as good this year as it has been in the past but still, you don't get to 96 wins by luck or accidentally. It means that you are pretty damn good. I relish being the underdog quite honestly because it means we will get overlooked and when you prove everyone wrong, it makes winning even sweeter! Now we just need 11 more wins to close this season on a high note and shock the baseball world!

A few guys on the MLB network and ESPN picked the O's to make the WS but more seem to be picking the Tigers. And I think game 1 is at 6 PM on Thursday, at least that's what TBS has blocked off along with 9 which is probably the Angels.

Detroits pen is so bad I'm picking the O's. That and I'd like to see Buck get a ring. He would be the 3rd guy fired by George Steinbrenner to win after being shown the door by ole George.

Yea, if I had to guess I'd say 6pm, so the 2nd game in LA would be 9pm

Roch just posted the times for the first 3 games:

Game 1 will start at 5:37 p.m. if the Royals win the American League wild card game, and 6:07 p.m. if the Athletics are victorious.

Game 2 on Friday at Camden Yards will begin at 3:07 p.m. if the Pirates win the National League wild card game, and 12:07 p.m. if the Giants are victorious.

Game 3 on Sunday in Detroit is slated for 3:45 p.m. That time slot is a certainty. Book your flights and hotel rooms.

The starting times for Games 4 on Monday in Detroit and 5 on Wednesday at Camden Yards, if necessary, will be determined at a later date.

Yeah it is absolutely ridiculous to put a PLAYOFF game on at 12:00pm on a weekday, they basically extend a middle finger to the working class that can't afford to take a day off for a ball game.

Agreed I know there's 4 games with 2 on the east coast and 2 on the west coast but why can't they just stagger the starting times. Like O's 4:30 Nats 6:30 LA 9:30 LA 10:30 or something.
