Iowa State's OC just took a job as QB coach at tOSU, from the list of possible considerations, Scott Frost's name showed up. Seems like he's done a great job with your receivers. Thoughts?

He wouldn't leave for Nebraska unless they gave him the OC job and we only wanted him as a receivers coach.

I guess it depends on whether you give him sole ownership of OC, if the pay is right, and if he really wants to coach for ISU.

He coached at Northern Iowa...
Besides, he would inherit probably the best team ISU has had in a decade. Offensively, they are only losing 2 lineman, 1st and 5th receiver & a pretty replacable TE. If he ever wanted to make it to NU, would be a great chance to build that. Not sure I am sold on him, as I think Kliff Kingsbury would be a better choice but I'm not sure if we could get him or not.

As already mentioned, if he wouldn't leave to take a position at Nebraska for anything less than the OC job I don't think he'll go anywhere else. As this IS a coordinator position he could go for the experience. I don't have a feel on it honestly.

I do know, he's pretty beloved now at Oregon. I would suspect there are plans in place to move him up the chain of command in short order.

Dude is a stud.
