I applaud the University of Oregon for their swift decision in firing this guy. He made a selfish mistake and paid the consequences with losing his job. Thankfully he didn't hurt anyone for his dumb decision. There is never an excuse with a DUI, but given how readily accessible Uber and Lyft are, and how cheap they are, there is absolutely zero reason to put other innocent people in danger for driving drunk.

Does this look bad on the staff? Sure, but I think it need to be looked at as a great thing for Oregon to say they don't accept this type of behavior from coaches and fired him.
