I've seen a lot of talk about wanting to put more offense in college basketball. One of the suggestions was reducing the shot clock, and I'd be okay with a 30 second shot clock. But, that solution just increases the number of possessions per game.

The new on ball hand check rule is nice, but again it doesn't really open up offense. Until we see a crackdown on bumping cutters we'll still be faced with the same issue of reduced offense in college basketball.

Your thoughts

I'm in favor of reducing the shot clock time.

I like it the way it is, it gives teams different options on how to use it. Perfect examples are Wisky looking to use the clock entirely every possession and IU trying to score as fast as possible every time they get the ball. Gives CBB diversity.

The worst thing they can do is limit the defenders in college ball. Defensive intensity is one of the highlights of the sport. NBA can have their game.

I don't know. I think there's playing with intensity on defense, and then there's just defending with your hands. I love watching good position defense/sliding your feet. I just think you have to get hand checking out of the game.
