You're right Dragon, substitute in hospital for suicide. The guy receiving the pass ends up in hospital.

Ah now that you mention it I suppose I have heard "hospital pass" used occasionally too. I like BBB's idea. But I'll never say another word about it even if you keep using it, I don't care and you are still the cat's pajamas in my eyes

Kinda reminds of when Dean McAmmond got KO'ed in Ottawa. Always found it weird in these situations that teams would basically stampede their own teammate to avenge someone hurting him.

Said this in the Leafs thread but that really saves the Leafs a boatload of trouble cap-wise. His salary plus the bonuses the kids hit would've resulted in some pretty steep penalties next year.

Now they can go with their alternate name choice. The Vegas Roulettes. Half the team wears red jerseys, half wears black. The goalie wears green and is number "00". Backup goalie is "0" green.

It says it in the article but it's worth repeating: Why didn't they get that settled prior to their big announcement? Because the name would leak and they wouldn't be able to have their big (glitchy) reveal?
