Keith is not a repeat offender because his prior offenses happened more than two years ago (elbow to Daniel, high stick to Carter) and thus are no longer applicable when assessing how long the suspension should be this time around.

I don't agree with it, but yeah that's how it currently works (is worded) in the CBA.

I'm not sure, I'd have to look it up - It's too bad Keith didn't punch a linesman tonight, he could have gotten a Maurice Richard suspension (regular season and playoffs).
