The X factor is Pronger and whether he takes Lemieux or Jagr out with a vicious elbow in game 1.

Officially retiring after sitting out last year as not retired so Arizona could get an extra draft pick for stashing him on LTIR.

Solid career for a guy who only finished 548 points ahead of the guy Doug MacLean traded down to choose instead of him. Only 459 more than the total of all 12 MacLean picks that draft.


Also notable, two goalies chosen in that first round finished with more points than Picard.
