Looking at this Cowboys team, I am not in the camp that has this " we are a 500 team until shown differently" mindset. All the pieces are there for the Boys to make run. Romo has been money when it counts, our receivers can cause any team nightmares, the defense can be a lot better but we are 2nd in the league in takeaways. We are not going to blow anybody out but we are going to do what we never do ..find ways to win. Just like the last 2 games.


This Cowboys team will make the NFC Championship game. At the very least.

Every team needs fans that are optimistic and have faith, but this statement just seems like blind homerism at this point of the season. Prognostications like these, are the precursor of overblown expectations, in this week to week league.

It is, but possibly not in the way you think. Nearly 2 decades of mediocre football tends to make folks doubtful, especially in this era of Cowboys football.

I try not to get too high after a win nor too low after a loss therefore I won't be jumping on a SB or bust bandwagon. We are what we are. 7-5 and 1st in the NFCE. Nothing more nothing less. While I'd love to see another Lombarfi in Dallas I don't really expect it in February 2014.
