Bagley might not be Darko, but I have a lot less faith in him becoming a multiple time all star(which is what should be expected) than Luka. It's hard to be optimistic when someone like Doncic falls into your lap and the team pushes him away.

I read that Doncic told the Kings not to draft him and that Bagley is the only top prospect who has stated that he would welcome being drafted by the Kings. If I'm Vlade, it would still be tough for me to pass on Doncic if he's available. If he chooses against drafting Doncic, he probably could trade down with a team who wants to draft Doncic.

If I'm Vlade, it would still be tough for me to pass on Doncic if he's available. If he chooses against drafting Doncic, he probably could trade down with a team who wants to draft Doncic.

I don't believe all the reports about Doncic not wanting to play for the Kings, but if there was some reason they just didn't want to draft him they could get a nice return from somebody a few spots behind them to move back and draft one of the bigs later. I'm not sold on Bagley at 2, if it was Bagley at 4 or 5 with something extra it would make more sense.
