Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema announced a pair of departures from the Razorback program for 2017. Defensive end Tevin Beanum has chosen to step away from football and linebacker Khalia Hackett has decided to transfer to a new school to continue playing football.
Former Michigan signal-caller and recent graduate transfer Shane Morris announced Saturday on Twitter that he would be making the move up the road to play for the Chippewas in 2017.
Louisville running back L.J. Scott has transferred to Eastern Kentucky, according to a report Sunday from Kennedy Hardman of WTVQ in Lexington, Ky.
The school has not announced Scott’s arrival, but Hardman reports Scott is already enrolled in classes at EKU.
The San Diego Bowl Game Association announced Wednesday that its board of directors has voted to shift its focus solely on the group’s running of the Holiday Bowl. That decision means that the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl is no more, ending a 12-year run for the postseason game.
The Hawkeyes announced via a press release that Jonathan Parker has decided to transfer out of Kirk Ferentz‘s football program. The wide receiver graduated from the university in December of last year, which would give him immediate eligibility for the 2017 season if he decided to move on to another FBS school.

According to Bruin Report Online, UCLA wide receivers coach Eric Yarber will leave the staff to take the same job with the Los Angeles Rams.
Yarber was a member of Jim Mora‘s inaugural staff in Westwood, but prior to that coached wide receivers for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady Hoke, a longtime associate of Butch Jones and former head coach at multiple Football Bowls Subdivision schools including the University of Michigan, will join Jones’ University of Tennessee staff, as 247Sports and GoVols247 first reported several weeks ago.
Hoke spent the 2016 season as defensive coordinator at the University of Oregon, but Hoke was not retained when the Ducks fired head coach Mark Helfrich and staff.
247Sports and GoVols247 noted this past week and weekend that Hoke’s addition to the Vols’ staff was imminent.
