13 second clip:
Sicario: 3.5/5 stars. I begrudgingly give this movie 3.5 stars instead of 3, as most of it was Emily Blunt not looking hot and just crying. Del Toro was pretty good, but nothing remarkable as a silent hitman; his performance was just slightly better than that of Josh Brolin's. I enjoyed it mildly, particularly the dinner sequence, and the final tracking shot, but nothing great for an action movie with a 90% on RT and an all-star cast.
Agree 3/5. Forget if he hit the whole family at dinner but good scene.
Oh look, I gave the movie the same rating nearly a year ago while high as I began an epic 3 month bender that included snorting Percocet and Dilaudid nearly every dayAgree 3/5. Forget if he hit the whole family at dinner but good scene.
Sicario 3.5/5 stars. Del Toro was fucking great and Blunt is 3/3 in movies I've seen her in (Looper, Edge of Tomorrow, and Sicario).
I'm a Minority Report type of guy. Cruise is a real underrated actor. I guess my favorite movie from him is A Few Good Men, but I guess that's kind of cliched isn't it?Jack Reacher (original). 4/5 stars. 1 of Cruise's best films.
Misery: 4/5. Holy shit that was an entertaining movie. James Caan was great, as was Kathy Bates. She wasn't "terrifying" per se, but still a very enjoyable movie. Now I've got to. Delmon Young is releasing his new autobiography, and I'm his "number one fan."
Nooooooooo. This belongs here, with the Wilmington area restaurant reviews. Also, I'm thinking of abandoning this thread and just posting on the entertainment forum one, but that would be hard, because I did start this one
Well, if you care to read an excerpt from my critically lauded movie review on The King of Comedy, I specifically wrote:Nooooooooo. This belongs here, with the Wilmington area restaurant reviews.
Also, are you changing your long standing opinion of De Niro ?
Sorry, it takes too much effort to go all the way over the entertainment forumWell, if you care to read an excerpt from my critically lauded movie review on The King of Comedy, I specifically wrote:
"De Niro, whose performances I have not always gravitated towards (to put it nicely), delivers one of the best characterizations of how I and I imagine many others feel regarding achieving stardom, yet all the while being a nobody. It’s his role, and Scorsese's sure-handed direction with the script, that makes this movie an unforgettable classic."
I'm actually probably moving to Wilmington next summer. ¡Adios Newark! You were home to me my whole life and did a pretty good job (I mean, just look how I turned out), but I am no longer in need of your assistance.Nooooooooo. This belongs here, with the Wilmington area restaurant reviews.

I feel the same way. Have you started smoking Pall Mall's by any chance?Sorry, it takes too much effort to go all the way over the entertainment forum
