Spectre. 4/5. Lots of action but too politically correct. Bond spends little time in bed and there're no women in the movie with most of their clothes off. The Craig Bonds have been like this for years, taking their job too seriously. Sexy Léa Seydoux is good as Bond's love interest. Money Penny is an averge looking black woman. Too bad Sean Connery is 86 years old.

If you @5th hour want to see a great Phillip Seymour Hoffman movie (and performance) check out 25th Hour. A great fucking movie. And he's not in it much, but you also need to see Boogie Nights. Another really good movie. It's like Goodfellas but with pron instead of gangsters

I saw the 25th Hour today. 3 1/2 of 5. I liked it. Starred Hoffman and Ed Norton. Tony Siragusa played a real pig of a sleazeball. Interesting "ending" included an option for Monty to do the time getting abused in prison for 7 years or skipping out and starting over as suggested by his father. Nice fork in the road. I hope he headed west to that nameless town.

Boogie Nights was terrific. 5/5. A must-see. One of a kind about making pron flicks, realistic and humorous. Burt Reynolds was fantastic. Dirk Diggler. lol.

I gave both 25th Hour and Boogie Nights 4/5 stars. 25th Hour was one of the first NY movies post 9/11. I'm glad you enjoyed it

All The Way: 4/5 stars. Cranston was great, but Mackie really shined as MLK. I never knew LBJ was so paranoid; it was a great character study with detailed info about his motives and the Civil Rights Movement

Gunman............3/5. Storyline went to hell when Penn made his first visit after three guys try to kill him, to the guy who sent them to kill him. I'm not Sherlock Holmes but the minute I saw this guy in $3000 suit and he didn't appear to be totally shocked seeing Penn 8 years later.....sorry.

Magnolia: 3.5/5 stars. One of the only 3 hour movies I've ever seen that felt like a 2 hour movie. I enjoyed its style, performances, and soundtrack, although I found it a little short on a purpose. The movie was all about chance and fate, but I didn't find many things incredibly influenced by fate up until maybe
the raining frogs.
It had like 8 actors from Boogie Nights, but was as far from Boogie Nights as possible. It was a little like Requiem For a Dream with all the different character's own plots, but not nearly as disturbing. I was amazed at John C. Reilly's performance in a drama. I never knew he could be so good. I also really liked William H. Macy's inner-conflict with homosexuality. I would recommend, but it's not a must-see.

I watched the first 2 episodes. I like it so far. Definitely will be watching the rest. The only thing that I find unnecessary is the constant flash back or forward to the guy doing whatever he is going to end up doing to his brother. We get it-something bad will happen. They should have done that once or twice in the first episode then let us forget it.

Keep reporting back. It's the second best first season of a show after S1 of The Wire. Trust me you'll love it

The Thing (1982). 3.5/5 stars. The best horror scene ever when the dog transformed, and probably the best horror movie I've ever seen. The last 30 minutes were a let down but the first hour was fucking suspenseful and scary. Well worth the $3.99 I spent

I remember it. I gave it a zero then because Adrienne Barbeau did such a bad job pretending she was scared with a lot of fake, silly screaming while she was smiling. I thought it was trash.

No, retard, it was 1980's The Fog. lol. Adrienne Barbeau is listed in the credits for The Thing (but as the computer voice), so I mistakenly associated her Fog scene with The Thing. Still, I remember that The Thing clearly sucked, imo. Swamp Thing? Never heard of that loser.

I just found out that annoying voice in the Mazda commercials was in Breaking Bad. I now have decided never to watch a single episode of that series.
