First off, Hopkins is without question one of the better WRs in the league and the Texans ABSOLUTELY need every talented wideout and tight end possible to help their pathetic QB situation. Hopkins had a lackluster 2016 campaign but when Brock Asswiper and Tom Savage are your QBs, what do you expect?

Unfortunately, Tom Savage is STILL your QB but at least he knows one thing, to target the F out of Hopkins. Savage targeted Hopkins on average two more times in a game than Asswiper, so that's something.

Regardless, Hopkins is getting WAY too much guaranteed money here. $50M guaranteed is an absolutely insane amount for a wideout and Hopkins does not offer anything in the run blocking department. OBJ and Mike Evans probably just came in their pants and are better receivers than Hopkins. Love the player, this signing HAD to happen for Houston and they are enjoying free cap by offloading Brock's stupid contract, but this is still too much money. A for the player, C- for the contract. Averages out to a B-/B.
