They were the lowest under Ferentz and many boosters and alumns were saying Ferentz should be gone if Iowa had under 10 wins. Of course, Iowa went 12-0 and lost to MSU and dominate by Stanford.

I think if he was done at season's end, Iowa would be where Nebraska is right now. Even with the loyalty Iowa has shown their last 2 coaches and high salary, that is not guarantee Iowa will pull a Nick Saban or Urban Meyer. Nebraska shouldn't have fired Solich and they shouldn't have fired Pelini.
