We'll start with obvious as to why GB should win this game and then move on into how the NFL is doing its best to ensure a GB win so they can have a KC-GB Super Bowl. The Packers are playing at home for a reason; they are the best team in the NFC. They have home field advantage, they have the League's best QB and they are well rested playing a 49er defense missing its best two players and a QB with a torn ligament in his throwing hand thumb and a sprained throwing shoulder.
The league, wanting GB in the Super Bowl, scheduled the 49ers to play a Saturday game coming off of a late Sunday game on short rest. They scheduled it at night so it will be even colder giving GB another advantage. Take KC for instance, they are not playing on a short week because of the league wanting Mahomes in the Super Bowl and also Cincy is not playing on a short week. No teams are, except the 49ers and Rams; the Rams got screwed just in case somehow the Peckers lose so that they have a backup plan of having Brady in the Super Bowl.
Why. you may ask? No one wants to see the 49ers try to bludgeon their way down the field in a 17-13 game. The league wants high powered passing offenses in that game with the league's most popular players.
So the 49ers are being asked to play the league's best team on the road at night on short rest by the NFL. Does anyone not believe there is a west coast bias in the league office? Its terrible, but the message is clear. The league has mandated that the 49ers and Rams cannot win this weekend; especially the 49ers with the offense only a mother could love. Should something come to pass where it looks like the 49ers might win, you can rest assured that the referees will come to the rescue for Green Bay.
I believe somehow the 49ers will find a way to keep it relatively close but the league will not allow the Peckers to lose. Just watch.
