NHL cracks down on thug/drunk/fatty Shane O Brien

Defenceman Shane O'Brien has been fined $2,500 for shooting a puck at LA Kings forward Jeff Halpern in warmup before Game 3. Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault was also fined $1,000, while the Canucks organization was also fined an undisclosed amount. O'Brien told media on Tuesday that Halpern flipped a puck at him before Game 1 and he was just having fun because they are friends and former teammates in Tampa. O'Brien joked that he talks to NHL's Director of Hockey Operations Colin Campbell more than his mom.
