There really is nothing sadder. To my knowledge only UK football and UNC football have cheated to accomplish so little. To be fair to Kentucky though, Turning in the football program was to avert eyes from the hoops program. Money talks.

We had a better defense that year than LSU did before the NCAA wrecked it. We'll never know just how good that team was while the SEC teams do illegal stuff all the time and get away with it. I just hope Coach Fedora is a whole lot better at dealing under the table than his predecessors.

Overall though, I can see both Baylor and Ole Miss getting slapped with sanctions soon. Both are bottom feeders and punching bags in their conferences, but became better overnight and Ole Miss pulled in an amazing recruiting class out of nowhere. You know Freeze sold his soul. One thing for Ole Miss though is that Oxford is an awesome town and campus. Waco absolutely fucking sucks; not sure why any good recruit would want to go to Baylor unless they're getting paid very well.

Facepalm yourself for denial, he left right before the program crippling sanctions hit (crazy coincidence right?) and came back to testify because he had nothing to lose.
