Bradley Roby named AFC defensive player of the week

Definitely deserving. Great game for him getting the opportunity to start. Rivers thought he maybe had a chance with Talib out and what happens well Roby plays one of the best games of the year by a Corner. Rivers had a 3.2 QB rating when throwing Roby's way. He also had a great touchdown when our offense was doing nothing and we needed some kind of spark.

The Broncos have now had a player of the week in 3 of the 8 weeks of the season. Siemian in week 3, Von Miller in week 2, and of course now Roby in week 8. Only one other team in the AFC has had 3 players given such an honor and that is the Patriots.

Also just something to point out is that Roby dropped in the draft because so many teams considered him an off the field risk with some dumb mistakes during college. He has done a great job of really cleaning all that up, maturing on and off the field, and even now giving back to the community. Just becoming not only a great player but a great human being for us to support. Always makes it nicer when you see a player that you could like off the field just as much as on it.

Both have been great members of this team and of the community. Elway and company seem to do a good job of digging through some of those red flags and seeing which players will continue to be a problem.

I was more meaning draft picks but then again Von Miller had some bad moments as did Derek Wolfe.
