Just by looking at the new banner it's easy to see why folks know The Lions got better.

I'm looking.....Is it the new rookie G that hasn't played a down, or the TE who reminds people more of Bubba on Forest Gump than Gronk or Graham?

We traded back for that rookie guard. Hell wasn't frozen over, and we didn't experience an unscheduled total eclipse of the sun. Until the start of the 2015 Regular season, it does rank higher than an one good season or one, well, underwhelming season being highlighted in the banner. It's Mayhew's GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT for the team so far this year.

Kind of like two in the bush aren't as good as flying the bird with your left hand, or something like that.

It's tradition to add the first round pick. Ziggy made the last cut. I figured Ebron would be a polarizing figure all year, so he had to be included.

I didn't know Barry Sanders is coming out of retirement.

I like the banner, but Tomlinson and Ebron should be replaced with Ansah, Quinn, Slay, Golden Tate -- take your pick. Those guys will have much bigger impacts on Detroit's success or failure.

Only way a guard should be in a banner is if you are doing one for an NBA team.
